I think I’d be echoing everyone when I say I’m a little underwhelmed be the recent apple event.  While Steve did introduce some very good upgrades and updates, I felt as though it was all run of the mill.  Let’s break down what was shown:
iTunes 8:
iTunes 8 was thia keynotes saving grace.  The genius sidebar is actually very handy.  In fact, I have already bought a couple songs that I didn’t know STP did (Revolution Beatles cover to name one) because of the Genius sidebar.
Re-designed Nano:
Everyone had already seen the …

Predictions:
New nano that everyone saw 2 months ago.
Dropped price for iPod touch.
iPhone 2.1 Firmware.
iTunes 8 with all the genius recommendations.
32gb iPhone.

I’m thoroughly convinced that cover letters are simply a ploy to quantify your worth / want of a job onto a single page.
That is just cruel.

This whole web 2.0 thing is pretty amazing when you sit back and realize what it’s doing.  We are being constantly updated, and fed gobs and gobs of information on our laptops, desktops, iPhones and everything else.  Want to know what Kevin Rose is doing…?  Try his twitter, pownce, or facebook account.  All of which are completely open to what seems to be anyone.
